The Luggage Tag comes in seven colours and is crafted from the most exquisite and soft OekoTex-certified leather — Grey, Cognac, Tobacco, Apricot, Mandarin, Forest & Cactus.
Our "On-the-go" objects are crafted with the same principles of simplicity, functionality, and aesthetics as all our storage products.

It was during a personal search for storage solutions that the vision for August Sandgren originated. I, Pia, who directs the company, love a decluttered environment and I like it to be functional, high-quality, and aesthetic. I couldn’t find any storage objects that met all my demands. We discovered August Sandgren, and by integrating our vision with his unbelievable heritage, we believe we can create functional and aesthetic boxes, folders, and holders, which suits today’s world but rendered in a quality unparalleled by anyone other than traditional craftsmen.

Crafted by hand in the best available materials
Each August Sandgren object is crafted by hand in Portugal by a fourth-generation family of craftsmen. They are not only incredibly talented, but also very dear to us.
The leather and fabrics that we use are all sourced in Europe and from leading tanneries offering transparency; from the origin of the hide to their Oeko-tex certified tanning processes.
Today, most of our objects are crafted in surplus materials sourced from the world’s leading furniture and fashion brands – we are not only very proud to contribute to waste reduction, but also to work with a quality that does not get any better!
It is easy to keep your object beautiful
We craft our objects to last – both in their construction and in our choice of materials. The construction is perfected in every aspect to ensure that it lasts, and to a large extent, so will the leather. The leather will, however, patinate, which we believe is part of its beauty and a testimony to how natural a product we create. To maintain our objects in the best possible way, and to keep it moist, you should leave it out of direct sunlight and every couple of years, treat it with leather grease – just use a soft, clean, cotton cloth and a thin layer of grease, and that’s it!
Make it personal!
All our leather objects can be personalised with name or initials. It is a small addition with a huge and valuable potential for appreciation from the receiver – that person being yourself or someone dear to you.
Personalising your object is easy and only increases delivery time with a maximum of two-three days.
