How to order August Sandgren
For your convenience, you will always be sent confirmation of all orders you have placed. No binding agreement has been made before you receive this.
Prices
All prices are quoted in Euros. The price indicated at the time of ordering is the sale price. If buying from outside the EU, we will remove the Danish VAT from the retail price, however you will be required to pay the import tax for your country.
Unless otherwise stated, shipping fees are based on DHL express economy delivery. We are constantly monitoring our delivery fees to ensure the lowest cost to our customers. Express delivery can be organised against a fee, if express service is needed please email us (see below). All shipping prices are quoted in checkout.
Delivery
All goods that are in stock are normally delivered within five working days. Products that are out of stock at the time of ordering can be expected within 2-3 weeks. Delivery of made-to-measure products will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
If you are interested in express delivery, please email us at asg@augustsandgren.com or call + 45 26839155 and we will do our very best to deliver within a day or two for an express fee.
Delivery terms may vary for items that are out of stock or sold out, and in cases of force majeure or the failure of delivery from our suppliers.
Cancellation
If you wish to cancel an already confirmed order, please send us an email with “Cancellation” in the subject line. Please also state the time of ordering and the order number in the email.
If you have received an order confirmation from us via email, you can return with “Cancellation” in the subject line.
Our guarantee
August Sandgren strives to deliver the very highest quality and therefore we offer a two-year guarantee on all our boxes, books and related items.
If your product is in any way defective, please notify August Sandgren within a reasonable time period after receiving the goods. Simply inform us of the details of the defect and include a receipt with the price and time of acquisition, when returning the goods.
Unfortunately, August Sandgren cannot accept packages returned “cash on delivery” or without paid postage.
Right of return
When ordering via Internet you have the right to return your purchase within 14 days for a full refund (excluding postage costs).
The only condition to exercising your right of return is that goods must be handed back in the same condition as they were when received.
If the goods are not in the same condition, August Sandgren will estimate a resale value and repay the estimated amount (excluding postage) to the customer.
Returning goods
There are two possible ways you can return goods:
- You can refuse delivery when it arrives by mail and request that the package be returned to us
- You can accept delivery and return it to us within 14 days. In this case we ask you to include a copy of your receipt. Please mark the parcel “Return of goods”

If you need to return an object, you can ship it to above address, or you can email us at asg@augustsandgren to reqest a free return label, which you can use to return your purchase.
The value of the parcel (excluding postage) will be refunded to the account used for payment.
August Sandgren do not accept claims of cost of returned objects. We gladly pay for the return of objects, but only if we book the return shipment through our system.
