Description
The Jewelbox is an incredible solution for keeping and storing some of your most precious belongings – your jewellery. The Jewelbox is not only elegant, and compared to traditional jewellery boxes, simple in look and feel, it is a true Danish design object, made for the modern, cool, yet feminine woman.
The Jewelbox is a smaller version of our iconic Bookbox, but with an added ring inlay. It has long been one of our most popular storage boxes, and is both modern and classic – inspired by traditions but created with today’s needs for tactile and simple storage solutions in mind.
This Limited Edition Jewelbox is made in fabrics from Italian Missoni. Very few brands are permitted to produce objects in Missoni’s iconic fabrics, and we were therefore incredibly proud when allowed to use it for production of our boxes. Unfortunately, Missoni have recently changed their global strategy and decided not to sell their fabrics to any 3rd party brands. Fortunately, we have a stock of boxes and fabrics, and we are allowed to sell until we run out of stock. This makes our Missoni collection truly limited, and this product is therefore only available until we run out of stock. Each of the three Missoni fabrics is paired with a complementary OEKO-TEX leather colour for the interior of the box. The result is unique and very very limited!
As the fabric is non-symmetrical, every box is unique, and it is not possible to secure two identical boxes.

Crafted by hand in the best available materials
Each August Sandgren object is crafted by hand in Portugal by a fourth-generation family of craftsmen. They are not only incredibly talented, but also very dear to us.
The leather and fabrics that we use are all sourced in Europe and from leading tanneries offering transparency; from the origin of the hide to their Oeko-tex certified tanning processes.
Today, most of our objects are crafted in surplus materials sourced from the world’s leading furniture and fashion brands – we are not only very proud to contribute to waste reduction, but also to work with a quality that does not get any better!
It is easy to keep your object beautiful
We craft our objects to last – both in their construction and in our choice of materials. The construction is perfected in every aspect to ensure that it lasts, and to a large extent, so will the leather. The leather will, however, patinate, which we believe is part of its beauty and a testimony to how natural a product we create. To maintain our objects in the best possible way, and to keep it moist, you should leave it out of direct sunlight and every couple of years, treat it with leather grease – just use a soft, clean, cotton cloth and a thin layer of grease, and that’s it!
Make it personal!
All our leather objects can be personalised with name or initials. It is a small addition with a huge and valuable potential for appreciation from the receiver – that person being yourself or someone dear to you.
Personalising your object is easy and only increases delivery time with a maximum of two-three days.
