This Bookbox is royal blue with agave - light petrol on the interior.
The fusion Bookbox is a fusion between our medium Bookbox and the Jewelbox size. It is a small but tall box and it is amazing for smaller treasures and personal belongings, jewelleries, watch, and other precious items.
The leather Bookbox can be personalised with initials, name, monogram or logo.

The Bookbox is our bestselling box and was the first of August Sandgren’s aesthetic boxes for storage. Both the leather and the fabric version is useful at home and in the office for both smaller and larger piles of clutter. The Bookbox comes in three sizes, and a removable inlay to divide the box into smaller compartments, can be purchased to the large Bookbox. The Bookbox is made from natural surplus materials, meaning sometimes there is small colour variations between batches and smaller – almost invisible – natural marks. We call it perfectly imperfect.
The leather box is named ‘The Bookbox’ as it takes its origin from the beautiful old book-boxes, in which people would place their most valuable books to take extra good care of them.

It was during a personal search for storage solutions that the vision for August Sandgren originated. Crafted by hand in the best available materials
Each August Sandgren object is crafted by hand in Portugal by a fourth-generation family of craftsmen. They are not only incredibly talented, but also very dear to us.
The leather and fabrics that we use are all sourced in Europe and from leading tanneries offering transparency; from the origin of the hide to their Oeko-tex certified tanning processes.
Today, most of our objects are crafted in surplus materials sourced from the world’s leading furniture and fashion brands – we are not only very proud to contribute to waste reduction, but also to work with a quality that does not get any better!
It is easy to keep your object beautiful
We craft our objects to last – both in their construction and in our choice of materials. The construction is perfected in every aspect to ensure that it lasts, and to a large extent, so will the leather. The leather will, however, patinate, which we believe is part of its beauty and a testimony to how natural a product we create. To maintain our objects in the best possible way, and to keep it moist, you should leave it out of direct sunlight and every couple of years, treat it with leather grease – just use a soft, clean, cotton cloth and a thin layer of grease, and that’s it!
Make it personal!
All our leather objects can be personalised with name or initials. It is a small addition with a huge and valuable potential for appreciation from the receiver – that person being yourself or someone dear to you.
Personalising your object is easy and only increases delivery time with a maximum of two-three days.
