Description
This Washbag is part of our ‘On the go’-assortment and is designed to last. It is made from leather with cotton lining inside, which can be removed and washed when needed. The lining is attached with beautiful old-brass snap buttons. With one large room and a pocket, it is perfect for all your toiletries when traveling. And when space is limited in a bathroom, it even has a small leather handle on the bag for hanging on hooks. This often comes in handy, especially in smaller city hotels.
Part of our "On-the-go" assortment, the Washbag is developed from the same principles of simplicity, functionality, and aesthetics as our other storage objects. It is an item that we use all the time, but which we couldn’t find matching our exact needs anywhere else. It is a no-nonsense interpretation of an object needed for carrying our essential belongings when travelling or moving around locally.
This Washbag comes in grey and is made from surplus leather. It is also available in black.

The exact type of leather may differ from time to time, as this toiletbag is made from surplus leather and the leather quality used therefore depends on the available screenings of leather. The leather is however always among the highest quality of leather

It was during a personal search for storage solutions that the vision for August Sandgren originated. Crafted by hand in the best available materials
Each August Sandgren object is crafted by hand in Portugal by a fourth-generation family of craftsmen. They are not only incredibly talented, but also very dear to us.
The leather and fabrics that we use are all sourced in Europe and from leading tanneries offering transparency; from the origin of the hide to their Oeko-tex certified tanning processes.
Today, most of our objects are crafted in surplus materials sourced from the world’s leading furniture and fashion brands – we are not only very proud to contribute to waste reduction, but also to work with a quality that does not get any better!
It is easy to keep your object beautiful
We craft our objects to last – both in their construction and in our choice of materials. The construction is perfected in every aspect to ensure that it lasts, and to a large extent, so will the leather. The leather will, however, patinate, which we believe is part of its beauty and a testimony to how natural a product we create. To maintain our objects in the best possible way, and to keep it moist, you should leave it out of direct sunlight and every couple of years, treat it with leather grease – just use a soft, clean, cotton cloth and a thin layer of grease, and that’s it!
Make it personal!
All our leather objects can be personalised with name or initials. It is a small addition with a huge and valuable potential for appreciation from the receiver – that person being yourself or someone dear to you.
Personalising your object is easy and only increases delivery time with a maximum of two-three days.
