Description
The Multimess box takes over where the bookbox gives up; it is designed for larger storage needs e.g., entrance halls for scarfs, hats, gloves, children’s room for toys and games or the office for documents, cords and wires. It’s perfect to hide most larger categories of clutter and it does so elegantly and yet casual.
The box is designed to fit all standard squared shelf systems like Mogens Koch, ATBO, Montana and even IKEA, this way you can either match the quality of your self-system with beautiful storage boxes or you can enhance your self-system with a stunning box.
In periods where you are not using the box, it can be folded and stores flat, this way it only takes up space when in use.
The Multimess box is only available online and is a 100% bespoke object i.e., we make it just for you. The minimum purchase is 6 units but then you can choose a free colour within Kvadrats beautiful Elllis material. Although 100% bespoke the delivery time is not more than 4-6 weeks.
Should you have an interior project or be decorating your own home with a fabric you adore, we can make that happen too. We can use your fabric for Multimess, as long as the fabric is an upholstery fabric, not too thick and firm. It was during a personal search for storage solutions that the vision for August Sandgren originated. Crafted by hand in the best available materials
Each August Sandgren object is crafted by hand in Portugal by a fourth-generation family of craftsmen. They are not only incredibly talented, but also very dear to us.
The leather and fabrics that we use are all sourced in Europe and from leading tanneries offering transparency; from the origin of the hide to their Oeko-tex certified tanning processes.
Today, most of our objects are crafted in surplus materials sourced from the world’s leading furniture and fashion brands – we are not only very proud to contribute to waste reduction, but also to work with a quality that does not get any better!
It is easy to keep your object beautiful
We craft our objects to last – both in their construction and in our choice of materials. The construction is perfected in every aspect to ensure that it lasts, and to a large extent, so will the leather. The leather will, however, patinate, which we believe is part of its beauty and a testimony to how natural a product we create. To maintain our objects in the best possible way, and to keep it moist, you should leave it out of direct sunlight and every couple of years, treat it with leather grease – just use a soft, clean, cotton cloth and a thin layer of grease, and that’s it!
Make it personal!
All our leather objects can be personalised with name or initials. It is a small addition with a huge and valuable potential for appreciation from the receiver – that person being yourself or someone dear to you.
Personalising your object is easy and only increases delivery time with a maximum of two-three days.
